Notes
Description
This publication is only a small portion of a much larger manuscript, The History of Sweetwater County, and includes information about trails-related sites on the Green River between Fontenelle Dam and the town of Green River. The information in this booklet is in its raw, unedited form.
About the Author - James William June is a Wyoming native. After serving in the Pacific during World War II, June returned to Wyoming, graduated from the university of Wyoming with both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in wildlife biology and went to work for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. During his 33 years working outdoors, he became interested in the history of southwest Wyoming and started recording everything he found. June's work required him to float the Green River twice a year and check on the wildlife.
